CVE-2026-44314Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Persistent device image overwrite via missing edit check

Published May 26, 2026 · Updated May 26, 2026

Broken access control in Traccar Server before 6.13.0 allows remote authenticated users to replace a device's stored image. DeviceResource.uploadImage streams the request body to MediaManager after checking device access but without calling PermissionsService.checkEdit. Exploitation requires access to the target device, a readonly or deviceReadonly identity, and enabled media storage; it alters persistent UI-visible media.
