CVE-2026-44231Network attack vector

Privilege escalation via exposed feed authentication tokens

Published Jul 20, 2026 · Updated Jul 20, 2026

Incorrect authorization in Request Tracker before 5.0.10 and 6.0.0 through 6.0.2 allows remote authenticated users to obtain feed credentials. The REST 2.0 user collection endpoint returns other users' AuthToken values without an administrator-level authorization check and rotates each disclosed token. Any privileged non-administrative account can retrieve an administrator's token, read data through RSS or iCal feeds as that user, and invalidate existing feed URLs instance-wide.
