CVE-2026-44226Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Unauthenticated traceback disclosure via global exception handler

Published May 11, 2026 · Updated May 11, 2026

Information disclosure in pyLoad WebUI before 0.5.0b3.dev100 allows remote attackers to read Python tracebacks via crafted template paths. The unauthenticated /web/path:filename route passes the attacker-controlled filename to render_template, while the global exception handler appends traceback.format_exc() output to messages rendered in the error page. No authentication or user interaction is required; disclosed stack frames, source paths, and exception metadata reveal application internals but do not alter data or interrupt service.
