CVE-2026-44215Public exploit

Application crash via unchecked UFS directory name length

Published May 12, 2026 · Updated May 12, 2026

Heap out-of-bounds write in NanaZip's UFS/UFS2 parser 5.0.1250.0 through 6.0.1697.0 allows attackers to crash the app via a crafted image. GetAllPaths trusts d_namlen independently of d_reclen and writes a null terminator to d_name[NameLength] without ensuring the name fits the directory record or heap buffer. Exploitation requires a user to open the malicious image; the demonstrated consequence is an immediate application crash, while code execution is unproven.
