Path traversal in the Red Hat Ansible Lightspeed MCP server allows attackers to write files outside the workspace via indirect prompt injection. Indirectly injected prompt content influences output paths, and the server writes resulting files to arbitrary user-writable directories without workspace confinement. Exploitation requires a user to initiate an Ansible Execution Environment build, exposing sensitive host files or enabling staged command execution.
