CVE-2026-44184Public exploit

Admin API key theft via reflective CORS

Published May 12, 2026 · Updated May 12, 2026

Permissive CORS in Cleanuparr before 2.9.10 allows remote attackers to steal an administrator API key through a malicious webpage. The global policy reflects every Origin while allowing credentials, and TrustedNetworkAuthenticationHandler grants administrator identity solely from a trusted source IP. Exploitation requires trusted-network authentication to be enabled and a user on a trusted IP to visit attacker-controlled content; the exposed permanent key permits later administrative API access.
