OS command injection in affected MariaDB Server releases on Windows allows remote authenticated users to execute commands through CONNECT REST tables. The CONNECT REST path inserts a table's HTTP attribute into a quoted curl command string and passes it to CreateProcess without neutralizing command-line metacharacters. Exploitation requires Windows, the CONNECT engine, enabled REST support, and database access sufficient to define or use a crafted CONNECT table; injected commands run with the server process's privileges.
