CVE-2026-44064

Information disclosure and crash via unchecked session ID

Published May 21, 2026 · Updated May 21, 2026

Out-of-bounds read in Netatalk 1.3 through 4.4.2 allows attackers to disclose memory or crash the service via adjacent access. Legacy ASP/DDP session handling uses an attacker-controlled session identifier as an array index without checking the session-table size. The path is reachable only when ASP/DDP support is built and enabled; exploitation can disclose adjacent memory or crash the service, while code execution is unconfirmed.
