Cross-scope PII disclosure via unfiltered address queries
Published May 12, 2026 · Updated May 12, 2026
Missing authorization in Craft CMS 4.0.0 through 4.17.11 and 5.0.0 through 5.9.17 allows remote authenticated users to read address PII. The top-level GraphQL Address resolver creates an unrestricted AddressElement query without applying schema-derived user-group conditions. A valid GraphQL token with read access to any user group can enumerate names, postal addresses, organizations, and tax identifiers for users outside its scope.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
