CVE-2026-43979Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Authenticated SSRF via unescaped PDF title

Published May 28, 2026 · Updated May 28, 2026

SSRF in Local Deep Research before 1.6.0 allows remote authenticated users to make server-side requests through crafted PDF exports. PDFService._markdown_to_html() inserts research.title, research.query, and metadata keys and values into HTML without escaping, and WeasyPrint fetches URLs from injected tags. Any authenticated user who can start research and export it as PDF can make the server contact internal, loopback, or cloud-metadata endpoints; cross-user access is not reported.
