Stored XSS via hidden card-type submission
Published Apr 7, 2026 · Updated Apr 7, 2026
Stored XSS in Rocketgenius Gravity Forms 2.9.30 and earlier allows remote attackers to inject scripts through a card-type value. The submission parser stores an input_.4 value that is absent from the rendered form, and GF_Field_CreditCard later outputs that value without escaping. No authentication is required to submit the value, but an administrator must view the resulting dashboard entry before the script executes.
