CVE-2026-43880Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Unauthenticated phishing via arbitrary SMTP email sending

Published May 11, 2026 · Updated May 11, 2026

Improper source verification in AVideo 29.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to send phishing email through the site's SMTP service. The public objects/sendEmail.json.php endpoint accepts an attacker-selected recipient and message, then substitutes the site's contact address as From and Reply-To when no user is logged in. Exploitation requires a captcha solve and configured SMTP; resulting messages use the site's legitimate sender identity and support targeted phishing and brand impersonation.
