File disclosure via unrestricted temporary-directory loads
Published Jul 27, 2026 · Updated Jul 27, 2026
Improper access control in WebKit before 26.6 allows attackers to read files outside an app sandbox through local file loads. NetworkResourceLoader::isLocalFileLoadAllowed authorized resolved paths under the container temporary directory without requiring a sandbox extension. A user must run or interact with the malicious app, and the reported consequence is limited to disclosure of readable local files.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
