Website-triggered application denial of service
Published Jul 27, 2026 · Updated Jul 27, 2026
Denial of service in Apple WebKit before 26.6 allows remote attackers to interrupt an app when a user visits a website. Apple has disclosed only that WebKit mishandles state and has not identified the affected code path or invalid state transition. A user must visit attacker-controlled web content; the documented consequence is interruption of an app, not a system-wide shutdown.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
