A stack overflow in Net-SNMP in Apple macOS before 14.8.8, 15.7.8, or 26.6 allows local users to interrupt service via an app. The affected Net-SNMP path exhausts stack space while handling insufficiently validated app-supplied input; Apple has not identified the function or input field. Execution of an app on the Mac is required, and Apple documents denial of service without specifying the exact termination mode or reporting code execution.
