Out-of-bounds write in Apple Neural Engine in macOS Sequoia before 15.7.8 and macOS Tahoe before 26.6 allows local users to terminate the system. Apple identifies the affected locus as Apple Neural Engine but has not disclosed the function or input path that permits a write beyond the intended bounds. Execution of an app on the Mac is required, and the reported consequence is unexpected system termination rather than data access or code execution.
