XXE in five RTI Connext Professional services allows local users to read local files or interrupt service through malicious XML. The services' configuration parsers resolve attacker-controlled external entities and expand entity references without restriction. Exploitation requires control of an XML configuration document loaded at application startup; no ability to modify data is reported.
