Denial of service in AirDrop in Apple iOS and iPadOS before 18.7.10 allows attackers to interrupt device service over the network. AirDrop accepts network input that can reach an internal assertion because the affected code does not validate that input adequately. The attacker must hold a privileged network position; Apple has not disclosed the triggering input, affected assertion, or whether the interruption crashes AirDrop or the device.
