Arbitrary file disclosure via unchecked QQBot media paths
Published May 5, 2026 · Updated May 5, 2026
Path traversal in OpenClaw before 2026.4.10 allows remote attackers to disclose arbitrary host files through crafted QQBot reply text. The QQBot outbound handler accepted local paths parsed from AI reply media tags and passed them to media sending without enforcing the media storage root. Reachability requires QQBot outbound media handling and attacker-influenced reply text; successful exploitation reads and sends host files but does not modify them.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
