Unauthenticated SQL injection via unparameterized limit
Published May 7, 2026 · Updated May 7, 2026
SQL injection in WPDeveloper BetterDocs Pro 3.7.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to read database data through unauthenticated AJAX requests. The get_current_letter_docs and docs_sort_by_letter handlers interpolate the limit POST value into SQL before $wpdb->prepare() parameterizes only other values. Exploitation requires the Pro-only Encyclopedia feature to be installed, activated, enabled, and exposed through the WordPress site.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
