DMA state corruption via faulty error cleanup
Published May 8, 2026 · Updated May 8, 2026
DMA cleanup errors in Linux Kernel 6.18 through 6.18.18, 6.19 through 6.19.8, and 7.0-rc1 through 7.0-rc3 allow local users to corrupt DMA state. The aml_sfc_dma_buffer_setup() error paths can unmap sfc->daddr twice and unmap sfc->iaddr with datalen instead of infolen. Exploitation requires low-privilege local access, the Amlogic controller driver to be bound to matching hardware, and a DMA-mapping failure; no demonstrated end effect is published.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
