CVE-2026-43276

Kernel crash via double workqueue destruction

Published May 6, 2026 · Updated May 6, 2026

Double free in the MANA network driver in Linux Kernel allows local users to crash the kernel during a failed PCI service rescan. On the reset path, mana_gd_cleanup() destroys gc->service_wq; after mana_gd_resume() returns ETIMEDOUT or EPROTO, device removal invokes mana_gd_cleanup() again on the freed workqueue. Local low-privileged access and a MANA device that reaches this failed-resume path are required, and the demonstrated consequence is a kernel crash.
