Service interruption via unchecked Minix superblock fields

Improper input validation in Linux Kernel Minix filesystem support allows local users to interrupt service via a crafted filesystem image. minix_check_superblock() accepts unsupported s_log_zone_size values and inconsistent inode, zone, and bitmap counts, which later drive an oversized shift in minix_statfs() and unsafe filesystem calculations. Reaching the flaw requires permission to mount or induce mounting of the malformed image; the demonstrated result is a kernel shift-out-of-bounds failure that can interrupt the host.
