Database compromise via unsanitized timezone parameter
Published Mar 31, 2026 · Updated Mar 31, 2026
SQL injection in Umami 3.0.2 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary SQL commands through a crafted timezone parameter. The analytics query path inserts the timezone value directly into raw Prisma or ClickHouse SQL without filtering or parameter binding. A valid application account is required, and successful injection permits database data compromise and database-supported dangerous functions.
