Authenticated arbitrary file read via absolute paths
Published Mar 17, 2026 · Updated Mar 17, 2026
Path traversal in Agent Zero 0.9.7-10 allows remote authenticated users to read server files through the download endpoint. The get_abs_path function passes the request path to os.path.join, which discards the intended base directory when given an absolute path. A valid session, or a deployment without authentication configured, exposes files readable by the Agent Zero process without permitting file modification.
