CVE-2026-43052

Local wireless state corruption via unchecked TDLS flag

Published May 1, 2026 · Updated May 1, 2026

Improper state validation in Linux Kernel mac80211 allows local users to alter wireless channel state through a crafted TDLS link request. The ieee80211_tdls_oper function accepts NL80211_TDLS_ENABLE_LINK for an existing non-TDLS station and changes channel context and HT protection before rejecting it. The flaw requires local privilege to issue the netlink operation and can disrupt wireless behavior; no confidentiality impact is reported.
