Kernel memory corruption via undersized HID reports

Out-of-bounds memory access in Linux kernel HID core allows physically proximate attackers to read or corrupt kernel memory. The hid_report_raw_event() path zero-fills from the end of undersized event data to a report-descriptor boundary that can exceed the actual buffer, enabling later out-of-bounds reads and writes. An unauthenticated attacker must control a HID device or event source that submits a report shorter than its declared size.
