Kernel memory corruption via mismatched HID report

Out-of-bounds write in the Linux Kernel HID multitouch driver allows local users to corrupt kernel memory through a crafted HID report. The feature-report response path fails to compare the returned report ID with the requested ID before passing the raw event into the HID core. Exploitation requires access to /dev/uhid or a malicious physical HID device and results in kernel memory corruption or a host crash.
