Adjacent-network device access via unchanged default credentials

Use of default credentials in Danelec MacGregor VDR G4e before 5.250 allows remote attackers to access the device from adjacent networks. The device provisions a default username and password and does not force operators to replace them, leaving the shipped account usable. An attacker on an adjacent network who knows the defaults can authenticate with that account and gain its privileges, affecting recorded-data confidentiality, integrity, and device availability.
