Unauthenticated user deletion via always-true permission callback
Published May 29, 2026 · Updated May 29, 2026
Missing authorization in WP Travel Pro 10.6.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to delete arbitrary WordPress user accounts. The travel-guide REST endpoint's check_permission callback always returns true, and Database::delete passes the supplied user ID to wp_delete_user without role validation. No authentication or user interaction is required, and administrator accounts can be removed.
