Cross-workspace chatflow takeover via mass assignment
Published Jun 8, 2026 · Updated Jun 8, 2026
Mass assignment in Flowise before 3.1.2 allows remote authenticated users to reassign chatflows and alter protected settings. The PUT /api/v1/chatflows/{chatflowId} handler directly maps extra JSON fields into the database entity without a DTO allowlist or workspace authorization check. Low-privileged access to a multi-workspace deployment is enough to move chatflows across tenants or change visibility and deployment state.
