Reflected XSS via callback response
Published May 27, 2026 · Updated May 27, 2026
Reflected XSS in Favicon by RealFaviconGenerator 1.3.46 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute script via a crafted callback request. Public advisories identify the RealFaviconGenerator callback as the affected locus but do not disclose which callback parameter is reflected or how output encoding fails. Exploitation requires user interaction with an attacker-controlled request, after which script runs in the victim's browser under the WordPress site's origin.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
