Subscriber-level stored XSS in custom buttons

Stored XSS in WPComplete 2.9.5.4 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute scripts in another user's browser. The 2.9.5.5 changelog identifies custom-button generation as the corrected locus, but Nexcess and Patchstack have not disclosed which field is stored or where output encoding fails. Subscriber-level access is required to plant the payload, and a second user must view the affected button output before the script runs in that user's WordPress session.
