CVE-2026-4275Network attack vector

Arbitrary plugin installation via REST nonce bypass

Published Jul 9, 2026 · Updated Jul 9, 2026

Cross-site request forgery in PlugPress Divi Torque Lite 4.2.3 and earlier allows remote attackers to install arbitrary plugins. The install_plugin and activate_plugin REST routes set permission_callback to __return_true, skipping REST nonce verification while capability checks accept the administrator's session cookies. A logged-in administrator must submit the forged cross-site request, after which the attacker can install or activate a WordPress plugin under that administrator's authority.
