Unauthenticated file deletion via Chatbot path traversal
Published May 27, 2026 · Updated May 27, 2026
Path traversal in E4J Vik Booking 1.8.10 and earlier allows remote attackers to delete arbitrary website files through the Chatbot. Published sources do not identify the vulnerable handler or parameter, but establish that a Chatbot-supplied path escapes its intended directory and reaches a file-deletion operation. The Chatbot must be enabled, and its AI or an administrator must answer the first message before deletion becomes reachable; deleting core files can stop the site.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
- Affected versionversion=0 <=1.8.9 changes=[{"at":"1.8.10","status":"unaffected"}]
