Alternate-path protection failure in AWS API MCP Server 0.2.14 through 1.3.8 allows attackers to read arbitrary local files. AWS has not disclosed which alternate path or code locus bypasses the no-access and workdir file-access checks. Exploitation requires an attacker-influenced request and passive participation by a user or MCP client; disclosure is limited to files readable by the server process.
