Unauthenticated message disclosure via unchecked visitor identifier
Published Mar 26, 2026 · Updated Mar 26, 2026
Incorrect authorization in HiJiffy Hotel Chatbot allows remote attackers to read other users' private messages through a web API. The /api/v1/webchat/message endpoint uses the attacker-controlled visitor parameter to select messages without enforcing conversation ownership. No authentication or user interaction is required; exposure is limited to message confidentiality, and INCIBE reports no observed data leakage.
