Unauthenticated internal data read via LibreOffice
Published May 14, 2026 · Updated May 14, 2026
SSRF in Gotenberg before 8.32.0 allows remote attackers to read network-accessible data through crafted office documents. The LibreOffice conversion route sends uploads to a separate LibreOffice process, which follows external OOXML relationships through libcurl outside Gotenberg's Go HTTP filters. Anonymous access to /forms/libreoffice/convert is sufficient, and reachable internal services or cloud metadata can be returned in the generated PDF.
