Database wipe via unauthenticated legacy importer
Published May 9, 2026 · Updated May 9, 2026
Authorization bypass in phpVMS before 7.0.6 allows remote attackers to modify or delete application data through legacy importer routes. RouteServiceProvider registers the /importer group with only standard web middleware, exposing configuration, database-test, run, and completion actions without an authentication or administrator check. No credentials or user interaction are required, and invoking the operational importer can erase stored airline data and interrupt the service.
