Arbitrary constructor invocation via unchecked class loading
Published Apr 29, 2026 · Updated Apr 29, 2026
Unsafe deserialization in Jenkins matrix-auth 2.0-beta-1 through 3.2.9 allows remote authenticated users to instantiate arbitrary types. AbstractAuthorizationPropertyConverter reads the inheritanceStrategy class attribute, loads that class, and invokes its parameterless constructor without first verifying that it implements InheritanceStrategy. Item/Configure permission is required; constructor side effects can disclose information or cause other class-dependent impacts.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
