CVE-2026-4246Network attack vector

Unauthenticated stored XSS via unescaped search terms

Published Aug 28, 2026 · Updated Aug 28, 2026

Stored XSS in Wpmet ElementsKit Pro 4.10.1 and earlier allows remote attackers to inject scripts through the Advanced Search endpoint. The endpoint stores sanitized s values in ekit_advanced_search_popular_keyword, then inserts them into an HTML attribute without esc_attr(), so double quotes escape the attribute. Script execution occurs when a user triggers the no-results popular-keywords view on a page using the Advanced Search widget.
