Authenticated profile mutation via proxy guard bypass
Published Apr 28, 2026 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Incorrect authorization in OpenClaw before 2026.4.8 allows remote authenticated users to modify persistent browser profiles via node.invoke. The node.invoke(browser.proxy) path forwards persistent profile-mutation requests without applying the browser.request guard that blocks those operations. An approved paired desktop node exposing browser.proxy and low-privilege Gateway access are required; successful requests alter persistent browser configuration without a reported availability impact.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
