Private-target access via unchecked Playwright navigation
Published Apr 28, 2026 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
SSRF in OpenClaw before 2026.4.8 allows remote authenticated users to reach private targets through Playwright request-time navigation. The strict browser SSRF guard validates direct destinations but misses request-time navigation that sends Playwright to a private address. Exploitation requires low-privileged access and passive user interaction, and the bounded consequence is access to restricted private-network resources.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
