Account takeover via XML-RPC two-factor bypass
Published Jun 15, 2026 · Updated Jun 15, 2026
Authentication bypass in XServer CloudSecure WP Security 1.4.7 and earlier allows remote attackers to bypass two-factor authentication via XML-RPC. XServer identifies the alternate path as XML-RPC but has not published the faulty function or validation logic. Exploitation requires valid account credentials, two-factor authentication to be enabled for that account, and XML-RPC login to remain reachable.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
