Authenticated denial of service via oversized input
Published Jul 21, 2026 · Updated Jul 21, 2026
Resource exhaustion in Elastic Kibana 9.3.0 through 9.3.6 and 9.4.0 through 9.4.3 allows remote authenticated users to interrupt service. Affected Entity Analytics endpoints accept an oversized input value without resource limits, causing excessive allocation and resource consumption. Any authenticated account that can submit the crafted request can make the Kibana instance unavailable, with no reported data disclosure or modification.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
