Reflected XSS via unescaped error-path output
Published May 4, 2026 · Updated May 4, 2026
Reflected XSS in GeoVision GV-LPC2011/LPC2211 1.10 allows remote attackers to execute JavaScript via a crafted ssi.cgi URL. The ssi.cgi invalid-path handler copies the URL-derived file_to_open value into its “Not Permitted” HTML response without output encoding. Exploitation is unauthenticated but requires a user to open the crafted URL; script code then runs in the camera interface's browser origin.
