Denial of service in OpenTelemetry.OpAmp.Client before 0.2.0-alpha.1 allows attackers to exhaust application memory via an HTTP response. The HTTP transport calls ReadAsByteArrayAsync on HttpResponseMessage.Content and buffers the entire body without a size limit. Exploitation requires a malicious configured OpAMP server or man-in-the-middle attackers able to return an extremely large body, and the bounded consequence is memory exhaustion in the consuming application.
