CVE-2026-42282Network attack vector

Authenticated credential disclosure via unredacted tool-call logging

Published May 8, 2026 · Updated May 8, 2026

Sensitive-data exposure in n8n-MCP before 2.47.13 allows remote authenticated users to disclose credentials through HTTP tool calls. The HTTP request dispatcher and sibling paths log complete tools/call arguments and JSON-RPC parameters before redaction, persisting values such as n8n_manage_credentials.data. Exploitation requires a valid AUTH_TOKEN and HTTP mode, and disclosure occurs when logs cross the request trust boundary through shared access, forwarding, or collection.
