Database data theft and manipulation via unescaped identifiers
Published May 4, 2026 · Updated May 4, 2026
SQL injection in n8n before 1.123.32 and in 2.17.0 through 2.17.3 and 2.18.0 allows remote authenticated users to alter connected databases. Snowflake and legacy MySQL v1 nodes interpolate user-controlled table names, column names, and update keys into SQL without identifier escaping. Exploitation requires an affected node, low-privileged access, and external input reaching identifier fields through expressions; it allows reading, modifying, or deleting downstream data.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
