CVE-2026-42233Network attack vector

Database data exfiltration via unsanitized Limit interpolation

Published May 4, 2026 · Updated May 4, 2026

SQL injection in n8n before 1.123.32, 2.17.0 through 2.17.3, and 2.18.0 allows attackers to read connected Oracle data. The Oracle Database node's select operation interpolates an expression-derived Limit value directly into SQL without sanitization or parameterization. Exploitation requires a workflow that passes user-controlled external input into that field; authentication depends on the workflow endpoint, and an unprotected webhook permits remote unauthenticated access.
